Tony Landek

Welcome. My name is Tony. I make things and teach other people to make things. My primary disciplines are woodworking, metalworking, and digital fabrication. Many of my projects also involve open-source electronics using sensors, arduinos, RPis, and other controllers.

But his operations taken together are so insignificant, a little chipping, baking, patching, and washing, that in an impression so grand as that of the world on the human mind, they do not vary the result.

The sun shining over a ridge leading down into the shore. In the distance, a car drives down a road.

Undoubtedly we have no questions to ask which are unanswerable. We must trust the perfection of the creation so far, as to believe that whatever curiosity the order of things has awakened in our minds, the order of things can satisfy. Every man’s condition is a solution in hieroglyphic to those inquiries he would put.

Welcome. My name is Tony. I make things and teach other people to make things. My primary disciplines are woodworking, metalworking, and digital fabrication. Many of my projects also involve open-source electronics using sensors, arduinos, RPis, and other controllers.

My background is as eclectic as are my various interests in making. I currently run a workshop called Pullman Tech Workshop that provides training to underserved and justice-involved adults. Additionally, we operate a for-profit social enterprise that creates custom projects for clients such as the Chicago Cubs, Blue Cross Blue Shield, NASCAR, and ToolBank USA.

My passion is teaching and learning though, especially with young adults that have been impacted by gun violence, homelessness, and chronic unemployment. I believe that creativity is not optional in our lives – it is something that is fundamental to our humanity.

To that end, ensuring that every person has access to the tools of creativity is what drives all the work I do. Creative equity for all.
